Yes you can, however, we recommend you talk to us before cancelling your current policy. We may be able to make a change to your current policy so that it better meets your needs but we will also be able to discuss how cancelling will affect your cover.
Any accident or illness your pet had before taking out your new policy is considered pre-existing and will not be covered by your new policy. This includes any accident or illness that you might have claimed for previously on your current policy.
There may be times when you need to update the information on your policy for example if you move house.
Alternatively there may be times when you need to change your level of cover or your excess.

Several factors are used to work out the price each year, including the age of your pet or horse, previous claims and the cost of vet fees.
This means that your policy price is likely to increase at renewal even if you haven’t made a claim. There is no limit to how much your premium may increase each year, and the increase could be significant.
You can cancel your policy at anytime in the following ways:

We will send you your renewal invitation approximately 21 days prior to your renewal date.
If you pay monthly by Direct Debit, or pay annually and have consented to 'continous payment authority' you wont need to do anything your policy will automatically renew.
Otherwise, you will need to call us on 0344 557 1246 to make a payment for your cover to continue.
