What our Lifetime policy covers
Our Lifetime policy provides long term cover for accidents and illnesses. As long as you renew your policy each year.
This mean you’ll be covered for any accident or illness your rabbit may have and any ongoing treatment subject to the terms and conditions of your policy.
How does this policy work?
An annual policy limit lets you claim up to a fixed amount each year for all accidents and illnesses.
You can choose a policy that covers vet fees from between £1,500 to £3,500 per year.
There is no limit to the number of claims you can submit. You can keep claiming until your chosen limit is reached.
Once the limit is reached, you won't be able to claim again until the policy renews and your chosen vet fee limit becomes available again.
For example...
If you chose the £1,500 vet fee limit, and your rabbit was to develop a skin condition and suffered from a digestive condition, we would cover the cost of treatment up to £1,500 in one year (subject to any applicable excess or co-payment).
When you renew your policy the policy limit will refresh and you'll be covered up to £1,500 again, should you need it.

Your Premium
Several factors are used to work out the price each year, including the age of your rabbit, previous claims, where you live, and the cost of vet fees. This means that your policy price is likely to increase at renewal even if you haven't made a claim. There is no limit to how much your premium may increase each year, and the increase could be significant.
